Well, here I am....A mom of four trying out a blog inspired by the movie Julie and Julia....and my hubby who thinks that since I have such a strong following on another social network, that I would start one here....without the distraction of other things....so, here I am, writing to right now...just myself.
Not sure how many will read this but, it's therapeutic in a way...I am a mom of four children, Ages, 10, 5, and twins that are 3. I proudly (on most days) am a stay at home mom for the last 5 years. I had a rewarding career outside the home in the corporate world for almost 13 years, out it on hold to have more children and raise them with my wonderful hubs. It has not been an easy path at all. Being a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom) is definitely the hardest job on earth, well at least for me anyway as the mothering gig does not come naturally to me. It is definitely something I need and have to work at. I do want to return to the corporate world in some form when all the kids are in school, 2012!
But, since this is my role at present, I take it very seriously and want to succeed at it. I try really hard to be the best I can be, each day for my hubs and my kiddos. Not always easy....oh, and I try to keep time in the busy schedule for me....hobbies are fitness, reading, scrapbooking, Pro-Football and Coffee!!! Love, love, love caffeine!
Well, that said, I am tired from all the day's events....tomorrow, another busy day of....carpooling, dr. appt, guest day at daughter's preschool....etc, etc, etc.....
